What is the difference between 1-way, 2-way and Drone Mobile options?
- 1-way remotes only send signal to your vehicle, you don’t know if your vehicle starts.
- 2-way remotes send signals between the remote and the vehicle. Once the vehicle starts, your remote will beep or vibrate.
- Drone Mobile is superior to all remotes as you can start your vehicle from anywhere you have network reception regardless of vehicle location. Drone also has GPS vehicle location, Thermostat and tracking capabilities. There is a monthly subscription as low as $3.99/mo as it does use network services.
What remote is best for me?
This depends on how far away you want to start your vehicle. Drone mobile has the best range and can start your vehicle from anywhere you have network; back of the store, in the mall, just landed at the airport, etc.
What if I get a new car or what if I’m leasing?
Most remote start modules can be removed fairly simply and transferred to the new vehicle with matching components.
What if my car has a factory starter?
That’s not a problem. Adding a drone or 2-way starter is not a problem and will give you much longer range than factory.
